On 20 July 2019, the SURE team organized its inaugural public seminar programme titled Breaking the Chain: Insights into Fake News. 60 participants attended the seminar, in which guest speakers Grace Yeoh (Rice Media) and Ken Chen (Home Team) shared on the proliferation of fake news and the psychological factors behind their spread, along with a moderated Q&A session with the audience.
