Giveaway Contest on Social Media - Terms and Conditions

These are the rules for the “S.U.R.E. Celebrates M.I.L: Giveaway Contest” organised by the National Library Board (NLB). By entering this contest, participants confirm agreement to all the rules.

How do I participate?

From 01 October 2022 0000 hrs to 31 October 2022 2359 hrs (Singapore time), NLB is organising a social media contest through the @PublicLibrarySG Facebook account.

To participate, you must have a Facebook profile:

Visit the @PublicLibrarySG Facebook post on “S.U.R.E. Celebrates M.I.L: Giveaway Contest”

Step 2:

Submit your response in the comment to the @PublicLibrarySG Facebook post on “S.U.R.E. Celebrates M.I.L: Giveaway Contest”.

All entries must be written in English.

Who will win prizes?

10 winners with the most creative and engaging comments will be selected on Friday, 11 November 2022.

Who can participate?

Any person who lives in Singapore can participate except for (i) NLB staff and their immediate family members and (ii) contractors for NLB who are involved in organising this contest.

You do not have to be an NLB member to participate.

Can I send in multiple entries?

Participants are welcome to post multiple entries, but each participant is only eligible for one prize.

What are the prizes?

There will 10 winners of shopping electronic vouchers worth SGD 100.00 each.

When will the winners be announced?

Results will be posted on Monday, 14 November, 6pm on the @PublicLibrarySG Facebook “S.U.R.E. Celebrates M.I.L: Giveaway Contest” post. Winners will be contacted via direct message on Facebook.

NLB will pick the winners and decisions are final. No correspondence regarding results shall be entertained.

How do I collect the prize?

Winners must respond to @PublicLibrarySG direct message and provide the following details: (a) Name as per NRIC (b) Last 3 digits and suffix of NRIC (e.g. 123A) (c) Email address (d) Handphone number

Winners must (a) send the required information within five (5) working days and (b) accept their prizes within 30 days of the notification of prize delivery; otherwise prizes may be forfeited.

Winners will be provided instructions on prize delivery via email and/or telephone stated in their Facebook direct message response.

Rights

Check the @PublicLibrarySG Facebook account and the S.U.R.E. Celebrates M.I.L. page for updates on the rules and this contest. Unexpected circumstances may require NLB to change the rules or prizes at any time or to cancel this contest at NLB’s sole discretion.

Prizes are not exchangeable for other benefits or cash.

By participating, participants consent to the use of his/her full name as per NRIC, last 3 digits and suffix of NRIC (e.g. 123A)], email address and contact number for contact and verification purposes.
